If you need to collect extra data on your cases you can add extra data Questions to your NookCRM configuration. Your new Questions will appear on the Case Record – i.e. when Adding a New Case, or viewing/editing an existing one.
You can do edit Questions in Settings > Data Collection.
Questions can be organised into Sections, and each section can be restricted to appear on specific projects, or be ‘unrestricted’ to show for all cases.
Here you can Add a Section (at the bottom), Edit a Section, Add a Field (to add a new question), or Edit a Field to edit existing questions.
When Adding a Field, you will be given the option to add an existing Question to this section, or creating a brand new Question from scratch.
Tip: when creating a new Question, be sure to choose the best type of field for this question,
For example, a numeric field for a question that asks “how many children live at this address”, not a text field.
Another example, using a Select List field to record answers to a Yes/No question, not a text field or multiple choice field.
